As an East Asian Medicine Practitioner, Dr. Claire is wholeheartedly dedicated in creating a new standard of care for women by supporting women in living their most self-aware lives from the full spectrum of menstrual life to puberty through menopause. Claire specializes in compassionate care of women’s sexual and reproductive health to achieve sustainable wellness. She partners with patients to feel empowered to strengthen their innate healing potential, have a deeper understanding of their reproductive health and anatomy, and normalizing the cycles of their lives.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Claire returned after completing her 5-year Doctorate with clinical experience at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She first fell in love with Chinese Medicine by being heard and honored as the expert of her own life. Striving to become the doctor she needed, Claire creates individualized recommendations that align with realistic health goals. Previously, she worked as a chiropractic assistant with a strong emphasis on supporting the LGBTQIA2S+ community and those with traumatic brain injuries. Gentle modalities of Japanese style acupuncuture, So-tai, and Cranio-sacral were emphasized however, Claire’s style is more of a unique blend found within integrative medicine. Claire incorporates various evidence-informed techniques such as: moxibution, electro-acupuncture, cupping, and herbal formulas. She is also certified in integrative pelvic floor therapy and shiatsu meridian massage therapy!
As a trilingual English, French, and Spanish speaker, Claire provides versatile, culturally responsive and accessible care. As part of the JFA community-healing network, she hopes to provide a nurturing environment in order for patient’s to realize their own unique healing potential.
When Claire is not collaborating in clinic, she can be found exploring local farmers markets, traveling, practicing yoga, or learning Chinese.
