Microneedling: A Natural Way to Revitalize Your Skin

If you’re interested in a gentle, natural approach to enhancing your skin’s glow, microneedling could be a perfect option!

This technique, also known as collagen induction therapy, uses tiny transdermal needles to create microscopic punctures in the skin. Don’t let the idea of needles scare you off—they’re designed to kickstart your body’s natural healing process, which can result in a firmer, smoother, and brighter complexion. And it's pain-free!

Real Results

These before & after photos show one patient's results after 5 monthly microneedling treatments. Notice how consistent sessions can enhance skin’s tone, texture, and firmness, with fine lines softened and a visibly radiant glow!

How It Works

During a microneedling session, a device with small needles creates tiny punctures in the skin.

As the skin begins to heal these pin-pricks, blood flow increases, and collagen and elastin production ramp up. This collagen boost strengthens the skin from within, continuing to naturally soften fine lines and enhancing skin tone over the following weeks.

Plus, these tiny punctures make the skin more receptive to nourishing products, like hyaluronic acid, which can sink in more deeply for even better results.

Benefits of Microneedling

Here’s how microneedling can support your skin’s health and appearance:

  • Smooth fine lines and wrinkles by helping the skin firm and plump up naturally.

  • Improve tone and texture, reducing uneven patches and brightening dull areas.

  • Minimize pore size for a more refined look.

  • Fade scars and dark spots, including acne scars and areas of hyperpigmentation.

  • Balance oil production for those with oily or acne-prone skin.

The results of microneedling last for 5 years!

What to Expect

During your initial consultation, we’ll explore your health history and conduct a physical exam, including a check of your tongue, pulse, and abdomen, to understand your overall wellness. Based on your diagnosis we’ll create a custom treatment plan, which includes a high-grade, herbal serum tailored to your skin’s needs and applied during the session.

Microneedling sessions last about 30-60 minutes, with a numbing cream applied beforehand to make sure you’re comfortable. Each microneedling treatment is combined with cosmetic acupuncture and a full-body acupuncture session to support both skin health and whole-body healing.

Afterward, your skin may feel slightly warm and look a bit pink, much like a mild sunburn, which usually fades within a day or two. It’s best to avoid heavy products and sun exposure for a bit afterward, giving your skin time to recover and maximize the benefits.

A full course of microneedling treatment is 10 sessions (once a month for 10 month).
