How to prepare for freezing your eggs
Egg quality is the biggest reason we’re preserving your eggs early, so maximizing egg quality potential is massive.
At least 3 months before you are thinking about freezing your eggs, we recommend you eat, sleep, and move like you would when trying to have a baby.
Here are the top 3 things you can do to help yourself:
1. Avoid chemicals, plastics, and fragrances that are endocrine disruptors.
We want to avoid chemicals that disrupt the safety of your egg. So check your labels, stop eating out of plastics and throw away anything that has a fragrance.
2. Eat good quality foods, reduce alcohol intake, and eliminate smoking.
It matters what you put in your system! Eating the rainbow is great, but also this would be an ideal time to cut alcohol, tobacco and marijuana usage.
3. Get weekly acupuncture treatments.
Acupuncture increases blood flow (which brings vital nutrients, hormones, and oxygen) to the ovaries. These building blocks are vital for excellent follicle development and ultimately increases your chances of excellent long-term egg quality.
